The official start to our homeschool year...

Last weeek was our official start of our homeschool year. Peter was off for shut-down, so I decided to start the boys working! The new curriculum we are using is great! I love it! It involves more work for me, but Jacob is really enjoying it alot better!

Jacob's 7th birthday was on Saturday. We didn't get to spend much time with him because he went with Grandma and Grandpa to Ohio. It still is a huge deal that I actually raised a child to reach the age of seven! He is still all intact and is pretty smart! God has truly blessed our family with great kids! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACOB!

Caleb pulled one of his bottom teeth on Friday. The tooth fairy didn't have any money that night (don't you hate that!) So she made up for it by giving a 5 dollar bill on Saturday night. She almost got caught by his big brother, but was still very covert!

Liberty is growing like a weed! She is starting to get a litte attitude. I told Peter yesterday that she was 5 months going on the terrible twos! She is definately a mama's girl. She is a joy for our family!

Church has been going great. DANHO will be starting in a few weeks. We are trying to get the kinks worked out. Pastor's messages have been phenonomal(sp). What I get to hear when I'm not in the nursery!

CONGRATULATIONS! Jennifer and Mark Webb in OK (my niece) found out they are expecting a boy in August or September. Can't wait to meet him!

If Rachel, Patty or Heather read this post, Hey Girls!

Bible School Time again....

It is finally here....VBS time at our church. My husband and I are in charge of it this year. (actually more my dh but I like to take some credit) We are doing the "Good News Games". It is based on the Olympic theme. I am so excited. It is always so fun to be around church folks every night.

Homeschool has ended for the summer, but we will still do some fun things.

Liberty goes for her 2 month shots tomorrow. She is three months, but we put off her shots for one month. I've decided to use the vaccination schedule in Dr. Sears's book, "The Vaccine Book". I ordered it off of Amazon.com.

My family has a great opportunity this summer to minister my in-laws for a few weeks. Please pray that we (I) can always be mindful of ways to minister to them everyday. Not just when I have a good day.

More updates tomorrow.

What's up......?

Alot has been happening around here in the last few days. I am finally feeling pretty normal...I am officially 37 weeks pregnant today. 3 more weeks to go. It still is totally unreal that I could have a baby today. Saturday the ladies at my church had a baby shower for me. It was so much fun. Our church family are an extention of our immediate family. We are so blessed. Liberty has received so many outfits that she would literally have to wear a new one every day to wear them all. God has really provided for our needs. Praise the Lord!!!

On Tuesday, my husband and J attended the West Virginia Republican Convention. My husband was originally supposed to be a delegate, but that didn't work out. He ended up going with Tom Roten and Lee Dean. He and j helped Tom with his radio show, and also got to stump for his favorite candidate at the same time. If anyone knows my husband, they know that his favorite candidate is Ron Paul. It was a super field trip for J and one I hope he never forgets. Both of them had so much fun! Mom and Munchkin stayed home....but had fun too.

Tomorrow my honey is leaving to go to SC to pick up my m-i-l, so she can be here for the new arrival in our household. Me and the boys are going to stay my parents for two days. Please pray for us this weekend.

Tuesday.......

Around the Scheer house it has been so stressful! Mom's 9th month of pregnancy, cabin fever, homeschooling, daddy doesn't feel well, and the winter blues have all hit at once. My family probably feels like it is in the episode of "Friends" where Rachel is overdue with baby Emma. She is in such a bad mood and is driving Phoebe and Monica nuts. That is how I feel every single day. My hormones are going crazy, the lower half of my body hurts, and no one has any idea what I want or how I want it done. Enough venting......... there a certain things that I feel need done right now in preparation for the baby, company, and m-i-l staying after baby is born. I can't do them, and that really frustrates me. On to happier subjects....

It is a beautiful day in my neighborhood today. Temp is very cold, but a gorgeous blue sky.
