Jacob and Caleb's Birthday Party

Today we are having a birthday party for Jacob and Caleb. The boy's birthdays are only a month apart, so it has always been easiest to have one birthday party. We usually only invite family. I will be posting pictures tomorrow or Monday.

Scheer Joy Academy Week 3

It is Week 3 of our school year and as you can see we are studying Christopher Columbus! The boys had a blast making the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. The kitchen sink was turned into the Atlantic Ocean, but alas our ships wouldn't sail with the pencil sails, so they were pitched. But it was fun none the less. The ships were also sailed in the boys bathtub that night. We are having so much fun!

Litte Miss Liberty is teething!

Liberty is 5 months old and is teething! I got her some zwieback toast at the store yesterday, and she is really enjoying eating real food!

My yard sale find...

Saturday I had to go out to CVS to pick up a prescription. I thought since the kids stayed home with daddy I would check out some yard sales. fyi..I hate stopping at yard sales with all my kids..it is not worth the hassle! After I picked up my prescription I saw a sign that said "Barn Sale". If you know anything about Teays Valley,WV there are not alot of barns left. It peaked my interest so I went to scope it out. It wasn't a true barn, but it had lots of old and antique thing to purchase in it. I was on a very limited budget, but I managed to score the coolest lamp, that matches my kitchen! And only for $15.00!
