Hey Guys!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile! Everything around here has been so hectic with starting school and being pregnant! Today is the rehersal for my niece's wedding! She will be getting married tomorrow! We are all super excited! The boys will be ringbearers and my DH will be officiating the ceremony. My job is to just be there and look beautiful! (Which is kind of hard these days!)

I had a dr. appt. on Aug. the 13th. Everything went really well. The Dr. tried to hear the heartbeat, he heard it, but it was very hard to hear at 10.5 weeks through a doppler. My next appointment we will get to hear it better. Two weeks after my next appt. They will schedule my first ultrasound maybe to determine sex! My last dr. wanted you to have an ultrasound all the time, but every dr. is different!

School is going great! Finished week 5 last week. Took this week off for wedding plans! My in-laws are coming today! This is just the calm before the storm. (in a good way)!

Thanks for the beautiful card from my secret sister! I need that card so much! Thanks again!

Secret Sister

I just wanted to take a few minutes to talk about secret sisters! First of all, I wanted to thank my homeschoolblogger secret sister for just being there! You have been so sweet, and I appreciate that so much! You have been such a blessing to me. I hope I can pass that blessing on to my secret sister.

I also have a secret sister at church. Last year, I did not have a good secret sister year. I had a really good friend's name, and I was so excited. During the year however, we (my good friend and I) came upon some really rough times. Some of which are still lingering. It was really hard to be her secret sister knowing we weren't get along very well. This year is total opposite. I've really become good friends with the pastor's dil and she is my secret sister, but she doesn't know that. I love getting her gifts and sending her cards!

In conclusion, being a secret sister can be a blessing or a curse. But worth it all the same!

Dr. appointment

Yesterday was my first dr. appointment for the new baby! It was so exciting, yet I was really nervous! My mom went with me, and we had a great time. Yesterday was also J's 6th birthday. It was really awesome that on my first son's birthday, I was going to the doctor for our new baby! They confirmed that I am 8 weeks preggers. My due date is March 9, 2006. Of course that may change after an ultrasound. I am already starting to show. Some people ask me if I am having twins, but I just say that everything happens faster with #3. I wonder if ladies with lots of children start showing as soon as they find out?

I really felt crappy today, so no school! We will do some tomorrow! Just an update!

Updates

Hey Guys! I thought I would post some updates on the family. DH has been off for vacation, so I couldn't get to the computer much. My pregnancy is going great. I am a little nauseous, and I have lots of headaches! I have my first dr's appointment on Thursday. We will then get an official due date and could possibly hear the heartbeat!

Officially started new school year today. We needed to start early, because the baby is tentatively due in March. It was a little rough going today with school, but we are on a new schedule and both boys are now homeschooling! Pray for me!!!

We purchased new bunk beds for the boys last week. They are supposed to arrive this evening, and I can hardly wait! They are growing up so fast!

Well better go! Will write more after dr's appointment!

Hi Guys!

What's been going on? Sorry, I haven't posted in awhile! We have been pretty busy family-wise. We are also gearing up for a great 4th of July! It seems like we have been so busy, but I can't nail down exactly what we did....... Saturday was our turn to mow at church. Sunday DH and Munchkin were sick so they stayed home from Sunday PM,and yesterday we had an unexpected visitor and DH mowed our yard. Today we are going with my s-i-l and neice to nail down what the boys will be wearing for her wedding. Very fun stuff! Well, better scoot! Happy 4th of July! (early)

P.s. Watch for a major announcement concerning our family with the next couple weeks! !!

Update from yesterday....

Hey, just wanted to give you an update from yesterday. When my DH got home, he administered the test to J, and everything went pretty smooth. I think I was having one of those days yesterday! DH is the teacher of the family, he has taught before, and he thinks like a teacher. Me on the other hand, is scared to death!

OH Well, J scored an 87 on his test, and will get to go on. DH suggested we consider the portfolio method for end of the year evaluation. I'll have to think about it!

Well, better go, sound like the boys are doing demolition in their room!

I've hit a stone wall.....

We just finished Kindergarten two days ago.....In order for J to start the ABC'S with Ace and Christie he has to pass a reading readiness test. I tried to administer the test to him today. I really tried to be objective about the test, and hold back helping him. Question that he should have gotten right, he missed. I don't think he is used to doing a test by himself, and I think that freaked him out a little ACE is designed for a school setting where children are seated in offices with a board on either side of them, everything is done individually. J was seated beside me at all times this year, and if he missed a problem we would talk about what was wrong with the answer. Did I help him too much this year. Should I go to a system where he does his work by himself? What do I do???????? Have I messed him up for life? My brain is telling me, "see, I can't homescool.", but my heart is telling me everything is fine, chuck the test and continue on. Update you tomorrow on the dilemna........

A Great day in the Scheer house!

Yesterday was a great day in the Scheer house! J finished Kindergarten yesterday! Ths last PACE has been completed! I was so excitied! We decided to go to Billy Bob's in celebration. Billy Bob's is like Chuck E. Cheese. We had pizza and played games. Another great thing happend yesterday, I got caught up on all the laundry from Bible School! PTL!!! Excitement is still here today, we are going to do nothing today! Thanks to my Secret Sis for her prayers! It makes my day go alittle better knowing someone is praying for me!

Hey!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile....We are ending our Vacation Bible School at our church. My husband and I are the directors. We've had about 65 people in all everynight. The funniest thing for the kids is the penny march. The kids bring in their change and have a contest between the boys and the girls. My DH and JK is up for the boys and me and LV is up for the girls. Shhhhhh......The girls lost.....Don't tell anyone.....it's a secret! So, tonight I will be receiving a vanilla pudding pie in the face. I am going to take my camera, and I will post some pics tomorrow! To my secret sister....Thanks for the comments! I am so excited about this session! Talk to you all later

Republican Presidential Debate

Did you watch the debate last night? We did! My husband and I love politics. I have always loved politics! Here are my top picks for Republican nominee.

1. Tom Tancredo
2. Ron Paul
3. Duncan Hunter
4. Fred Thompson
5. Mike Huckabee

The first two pick are probably interchangeable. I am a true conservative. The "Rudy McRomney" team are true liberals under the guise of conservatives. Mitt Romney may pull the Morman thing out when necessary, but if you listen to his answers he isn't as conservative as people are led to believe. John McCain is so left he can't even find the right. Sam Brownbeck is to syrupy for me. I think Tommy Thompson has a toupee...... etc. etc. etc.

If we could have a debate with conservatives actually asking them questions, I think we would get a lot better feel of their views. NO more liberal biased media feeding questions.

My husband is really considering joining the Constitutional Party...I haven't made up my mind yet. It really is a catch 22. Do you vote your true prinicples and know that you vote probably won't count or do you vote for the lesser of two evils.....still pondering that question.

thanks for reading!

We're back from vacation! It was so nice to get away for a week, but it takes some time to get back into the groove of things. We will start our final paces tomorrow! I can't wait to get started!

Some thoughts about my blog:

I reread all my post, and they really sounded like I was borderline sucidial! It really isn't the case! I guess I only blog when I have something on my mind that needs out. I will try to write about happier things from now on!

This blog is a place for my thoughts. It is a place for me to put my own personal thoughts out there. Sometimes it is very hard for me to do in real life. Some things I write may rub people the wrong way, but such is life!

Sometimes my entries may be personal. The question is how far do you go with blogging? Do you treat your blog as a diary? Thoughts to ponder........

Please leave me a comment!!!!!!

We're Back!!!!
