Today I am going to the library and to an antique shop! I can't wait. I will be ready for them to come home, but just not yet! Hopefully, I will find an frappacinio somewhere along the way today!!!!!! Enjoy your day!

Update from yesterday....

Hey, just wanted to give you an update from yesterday. When my DH got home, he administered the test to J, and everything went pretty smooth. I think I was having one of those days yesterday! DH is the teacher of the family, he has taught before, and he thinks like a teacher. Me on the other hand, is scared to death!

OH Well, J scored an 87 on his test, and will get to go on. DH suggested we consider the portfolio method for end of the year evaluation. I'll have to think about it!

Well, better go, sound like the boys are doing demolition in their room!

I've hit a stone wall.....

We just finished Kindergarten two days ago.....In order for J to start the ABC'S with Ace and Christie he has to pass a reading readiness test. I tried to administer the test to him today. I really tried to be objective about the test, and hold back helping him. Question that he should have gotten right, he missed. I don't think he is used to doing a test by himself, and I think that freaked him out a little ACE is designed for a school setting where children are seated in offices with a board on either side of them, everything is done individually. J was seated beside me at all times this year, and if he missed a problem we would talk about what was wrong with the answer. Did I help him too much this year. Should I go to a system where he does his work by himself? What do I do???????? Have I messed him up for life? My brain is telling me, "see, I can't homescool.", but my heart is telling me everything is fine, chuck the test and continue on. Update you tomorrow on the dilemna........

A Great day in the Scheer house!

Yesterday was a great day in the Scheer house! J finished Kindergarten yesterday! Ths last PACE has been completed! I was so excitied! We decided to go to Billy Bob's in celebration. Billy Bob's is like Chuck E. Cheese. We had pizza and played games. Another great thing happend yesterday, I got caught up on all the laundry from Bible School! PTL!!! Excitement is still here today, we are going to do nothing today! Thanks to my Secret Sis for her prayers! It makes my day go alittle better knowing someone is praying for me!

Hey!

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile....We are ending our Vacation Bible School at our church. My husband and I are the directors. We've had about 65 people in all everynight. The funniest thing for the kids is the penny march. The kids bring in their change and have a contest between the boys and the girls. My DH and JK is up for the boys and me and LV is up for the girls. Shhhhhh......The girls lost.....Don't tell anyone.....it's a secret! So, tonight I will be receiving a vanilla pudding pie in the face. I am going to take my camera, and I will post some pics tomorrow! To my secret sister....Thanks for the comments! I am so excited about this session! Talk to you all later

Republican Presidential Debate

Did you watch the debate last night? We did! My husband and I love politics. I have always loved politics! Here are my top picks for Republican nominee.

1. Tom Tancredo
2. Ron Paul
3. Duncan Hunter
4. Fred Thompson
5. Mike Huckabee

The first two pick are probably interchangeable. I am a true conservative. The "Rudy McRomney" team are true liberals under the guise of conservatives. Mitt Romney may pull the Morman thing out when necessary, but if you listen to his answers he isn't as conservative as people are led to believe. John McCain is so left he can't even find the right. Sam Brownbeck is to syrupy for me. I think Tommy Thompson has a toupee...... etc. etc. etc.

If we could have a debate with conservatives actually asking them questions, I think we would get a lot better feel of their views. NO more liberal biased media feeding questions.

My husband is really considering joining the Constitutional Party...I haven't made up my mind yet. It really is a catch 22. Do you vote your true prinicples and know that you vote probably won't count or do you vote for the lesser of two evils.....still pondering that question.

thanks for reading!

We're back from vacation! It was so nice to get away for a week, but it takes some time to get back into the groove of things. We will start our final paces tomorrow! I can't wait to get started!

Some thoughts about my blog:

I reread all my post, and they really sounded like I was borderline sucidial! It really isn't the case! I guess I only blog when I have something on my mind that needs out. I will try to write about happier things from now on!

This blog is a place for my thoughts. It is a place for me to put my own personal thoughts out there. Sometimes it is very hard for me to do in real life. Some things I write may rub people the wrong way, but such is life!

Sometimes my entries may be personal. The question is how far do you go with blogging? Do you treat your blog as a diary? Thoughts to ponder........

Please leave me a comment!!!!!!

We're Back!!!!
